MC Duffer
Originally from North Carolina, I’ve spent the last seven years building a life—and a love for movement—in Montana. When I’m not training, you’ll usually find me outside with my dog—hiking, exploring, and soaking up fresh air. I also love curling up with a good book, attending group fitness classes, and spending quality time with my husband and friends.
Movement has always been part of my life, but after an injury in 2022, my relationship with fitness shifted in a big way. That experience taught me how powerful intentional movement can be—not just for building strength, but for supporting mental well-being too.
Now as a personal trainer, I focus on meeting you where you are. My goal is to help you build confidence and consistency through workouts that feel supportive, not overwhelming.
When you work with me, you’re getting more than a trainer—you’re gaining a coach who genuinely cares. I’ll challenge you when you’re ready, support you when you need it, and help you create a routine that feels sustainable and empowering.

Ri Scovel
Ri (They/Them)
I have been instructing pole fitness for just over 4 years, with multiple X-Pert certifications under my belt (and even more to come). Right now my expertise lies mostly with pole but I also do many other formats.
Finding Aerials has allowed me to view my body and my appreciation for strength differently, it has helped me with injury prevention and stress relief, and most importantly my mental state, and I love helping others find all these benefits and more on their journey.
As someone who is 6’1” and lives with autoimmune conditions that impact my physical wellness, I’ve spent a lot of time studying fundamentals, safe technique, and how to adapt movement for different bodies. My teaching emphasizes building strength in a sustainable, healthy way.
In my classes, you’ll hear one core belief again and again: every body is a pole body. No one should ever feel like they aren’t “enough” for these classes. My goal is to create a space where you can build confidence, feel strong, and discover just how capable you really are.
I hope to see you in class soon!
Jess Powell
𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒔 (she/her, you might hear students use her stage name, Kat) started stripping in Portland in 2003. She worked in 13 states before going into semi-retirement in 2023. She loves the way that exotic dance is a form of exercise that doesn’t feel like exercise, and how good it feels when a move evolves from awkward to polished. She’s excited to learn new tricks alongside her students and share how to build stage presence.
