This intro-level workshop is for anyone who wants to unlock stage-worthy moves. Students will activate glute muscles and are encouraged to get silly as they are introduced to booty isolation, how to twerk standing, squatting, and when doing floor work. Dress ready to sweat in whatever makes you feel confident! Knee pads encouraged, heels welcome but not required.

Meet your instructor:

𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒔 (she/her, you might hear students use her stage name, Kat) started stripping in Portland in 2003. She worked in 13 states before going into semi-retirement in 2023. She loves the way that exotic dance is a form of exercise that doesn’t feel like exercise, and how good it feels when a move evolves from awkward to polished. She’s excited to learn new tricks alongside her students and share how to build stage presence. strip_happens
